Originally founded in 1965 as House of Batteries, this Fountain Valley, California-based company now operates under the Custom Power brand as the power division of UK-listed Solid State plc. It designs and assembles custom lithium and other-chemistry battery packs, battery management systems, and chargers for mission-critical aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and unmanned-systems applications. It serves primarily U.S. customers, with additional reach into the UK/European market through its parent company.
