Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbHは、ドイツのバーデン＝ヴュルテンベルク州ネッカーテンツリンゲンに本社を置く産業用ネットワーク・接続ソリューションのドイツメーカー。産業用イーサネットスイッチ、ルーター、ネットワークインフラ部品のほか、産業オートメーション環境向けの電気コネクタや光ファイバーソリューションを専門とする。2007年にBeldenに買収された。

沿革

1. 1997

   Rheinmetallは1997年にHirschmannを買収し、PAT Kruegerの荷重モーメント指示計事業をグループに加えた。
2. 2004

   英プライベートエクイティのHgCapitalは2004年、マネジメントバイアウトによりRheinmetallからHirschmannを買収し、その後同社をHAC・HCC・HMEの3事業部門に分割した。
3. 2007

   米ケーブル・信号伝送企業のBeldenは2007年、HgCapitalからHirschmann Automation and Control GmbH（HAC）を現金約2億6000万米ドルおよび年金債務約6000万米ドルで買収した。
4. 2007

   BeldenがAutomation and Control部門のみを買収したことを受け、Hirschmann Car Communicationはマネジメントバイアウトにより独立企業として設立された。
5. 2012

   VOXX International Corporationは2012年、Hirschmann Car Communication GmbHとその世界各地の子会社を約1億1200万米ドル（8500万ユーロ）で買収した。
6. 2017

   TE Connectivityは2017年、VOXX InternationalからHirschmann Car Communicationを約1億7000万米ドルで買収した。
7. 2018

   WIKA Groupは2018年1月1日付で、Belden/HACからHirschmann Mobile Machine Control Solutions（MCS）事業を買収し、WIKA Mobile Control GmbH & Co. KGに改称した。
