Silicon Labsは1996年設立、米国テキサス州オースティンに本社を置く半導体メーカー。低消費電力の無線接続に特化し、Bluetooth LE・Zigbee・Thread・MatterやWi-Fiに対応するワイヤレスSoCとモジュール、MCU、セキュリティ機能、開発環境Simplicity Studioを提供する。スマートホーム、産業IoT、スマートシティが主戦場。

沿革

1. 2016

   Silicon Labsは2016年10月にMicriumを買収し、商用グレードの組込みRTOSを獲得。MicriumのµC/OSソフトウェアをSilicon Labsの無線・MCU製品と統合した。
